It has no visible wear and has only been used a handful of times, always stored in my anchor locker as a secondary anchor... not on the deck of the boat. These are $679 new on west marine's website.
The CQR is a very time-tested and well respected brand/design among cruisers. It is a hinged plow type anchor. Effective in a very wide range of conditions.
