I only used this about ten times. rinsed, loosened drag every time. This reel sells for 700-720. It holds 300 yds 30lb gelspun with 700 grain billfish taper-or 200 yards with 10/11 wt floating. It is well balanced for a 14 wt rod. Drag is about 22-25 pounds, and flawless. The reel is marketed as a heavy inshore reel, but will handle yellowfin to 35 pounds, or 100 pounds of most anything else.
