The boat: Savage Gravity. Red, 10 ft long, this hull was originally sold as a Grand Canyon style whitewater boat but I've used it for years on the rivers on the Eastern Shore with no complaints. It's basic, but does have a molded seat and front and rear deck rigging.
The paddle: Kober and Moll breakdown paddle. The paddle breaks into two sections for ease of transport.
If you want to learn how to roll a kayak, this is the boat for you. It has almost no chine which makes it very easy to roll (although not tippy).Keywords: kayak paddle
