This is a "tin squid" type lure with more action than Daytona Beach at Spring Break! They are the same approximate size and shape as peanut bunker and a lot of other bait fish on all three U.S. coasts. Weighing about 1 ounce, they are molded in tin, and are non-toxic for places where lead lures are outlawed. The less dense tin makes a lure that has more action, sinks slower and still casts like a bullet. I've fished these by just about any method you can think of and they catch fish! Cast and retrieve, jig/drift, jig/troll or just plain troll, they all work. In salt water, these are deadly on bluefish, striped bass, weakfish (sea trout, gray trout) and probably on a lot of others that I've never had the chance to fish for. (Even took a bonito on one.) In fresh water, the list is extensive too. I've taken pickerel, large mouth bass, small mouth bass, northerns and even lake trout!
The finish on these is a soft luster that can be renewed with any good metal polish or plain steel wool. The hooks are single heavy duty Mustad, plated to resist rust even in salt water and they are tied with "fish hair". Available tail colors are white, yellow, green and hot pink. They’re packaged individually in plastic with header cards as shown.
Price is $2.25 each and shipping is $1.60 for the first one and an additional $.40 each for additionals.
