Ingredients:
Tuna steaks
shitake mushrooms
bell peppers-green red yellow
lettuce greens
garlic
balsamic vinegar
s and p
olive oil
dijon mustard
shallot
Directions:
1)prepare cold pepper salad-
roast red, yellow, green peppers
dice, add a few spoonfulls of dijon mustard, s and p...chill
2)dice shallot and sautee with garlic and olive oil
add quartered stemmed mushrooms, add balsamic vinegar, set aside
3)coat (pat) tuna steaks with salt, pepper,garlic, olive oil
sear in hot olive oil on seasoned side about 20-30 seconds
sear on opposite side, then on sides..prepare med rare
4)mix some lettuce greens in a basic vinaigrette, wrap with a band of
roasted pepper
5)place sauteed mushrooms on plate, top with tuna steak cut into triangular
quarters, place leaf lettuce arrangement in middle, surround with a few
spoonfulls of bell pepper medley
