Fishing Report: Lake Anna, VA

I just had a great day out on Lake Anna:

I caught a mess of Crappie on small minnows and yellow curly tail jigs. Once I found the spot they where hitting anything that hit the water. I was fishing around a beaver lodge I found off of Lake Anna State Park.

Cool! A Lake Anna report! What time of day? I heard the boating traffic was already impacting the fishing.

11:00 AM I wasn't there long, as I had all the fish I needed in less then an hour.

I looked Lake Anna up on the net and it's a nice looking lake. They had lots of pictures of the lake and it's similar
to Lake Norman in looks. How far is it from Richmond?
