I have a friend who will be going to Key West in the near future and he thought I (as a charter captain myself) could help him locate a couple of options for his fishing adventures. Up here, we have the Virginia Charter Boat Association, of which I'm a member as well as a member of NACO, and was wondering if there was a charter boat association there in the Keys.
Any assistance would be appreciated. Websites of charter captains welcome.
Thanks,
Joe

go to the Keys Board Sticky Home page on there The Weekly Fisherman has a large section on charter capt's..I personally do not go south very much so I do not have much in the way of first hand personal knowledge in that area, there are however a tremendous number of guides down there.

Capt Bob,
Thanks for the suggestion, I will check it out. I was hoping, however, for some input from someone who had a good (or a not so good) experience with one particular Captain or another. As you know, superior customer satisfaction will result in more (and repeat) customers as word of mouth spreads.
Anybody else out there have any recommendations? If you are a charter captain and don't want to raise the ire of anyone, PM me rather than post here.
Thanks,
Joe

Just saw this thread and wanted to pass along Capt. Bill Welder's name. I've been fishing with him for years and he is the best! He's in Cudjo Key which is only a little out of Key West. I'll be down there again next weekend tarpon fishing with him. Here's a link to his site! Great guide for any type of fishing your friend wants to do!
