View Full Version : Anybody bluefin fishing off VB?

Any reports of bluefin lately off VB or OI? It's getting close to that time and the inshore water is heating up so I was wondering if anyone had tried the Fingers, WW, or towers/Cigar areas. The big pod of warm water on the inside off OI looks like it might hold some bluefin on the north boundary in 20-30 fathoms. There's still debate about whether these fish move west from the central Atlantic direct to the fingers/WW area, or work their way up from the south. Thoughts?

I'm having the same thoughts. May give it a stab real soon - hell somebody has to try ;)

DC Ben, that water at the 26 mile hill looks nice...Seems to always produce early.
what's your take on this bulge? Comming up and in?

My take is it may just be a tease, but has a shot of making an early weekend run interesting.
