As the summer is finally heating up, so is my interest in wading for softies in the grass.
I have not notice much grass beds this year, but that might be because I have not been out as much as I would like to be.
What has the board observed thus far?
Thanks!

where u wading? Crisfield has a ton of grass in the shallows around Cedar and Fox Islands
As it warms up, I have been noticing more and more coming back. It'll get thick once that water gets a little warmer.

Ill be wading grass beds in the Miles from Tilghman Point up to the draw bridge.
Glad to hear we have some. Thats great. With the cool spring, I was wondering. And, since we have not had too much rain to wash the fertilzers and herbescides off the fields, grass should be doing well.
Thanks again all.
Personally, I could live without the grass. In the Elk it is everywhere and it grows about 10 feet out every year.
I agree with rrr in the summer the only place on the elk with no grass is the channel and seems to be getting worse every year.

I can relate to those that find grass a nuisance.
Conditions where I go are different and the grass beds thrive in waters that average up to 5 feet or so and that is it.
It does foul a prop.

It has good and bad ramifications. More good than bad i think for the crab though.
