Was at lens at 6:00am fist run was good then after that the crabs slacked off. Around lunchtime when the tide started running in the crabs started biteing agen.by 3:00pm packed up all 30 traps and all 900ft of trotline and headed in.Ended up with 120 crabs some with some size to them but the rest still small but heavy with rusty bottoms.So in all a good day at the pax

we're planning on our 1st crabbing trip this year. we're looking at about a 2-1/2 hour drive down to the PAX. Where can we launch that is close to Broome's island?

Roadhog, you did way better than us. We went down river a tad, but started at 9AM. 4-5 feet nothing, 8' a couple. Moved the 2 600," snood lines out into 10-12' of water and ended up with 44 Jimmies by 3PM, called it a day. Nice size crabs though. Some days your on em and other days your not, this was one of our not day. T.

yea last week they seemed to like the ten feet of water. plan on going down agan this week sometime.
