Going to Assateague over the weekend, does anyone know of a good place to buy a live bushel?

I have no idea about buying them in that area. I buy lots of soft crabs from the shedding places in Chrisfield (Marlene's bait and tackle) sometimes they have hard crabs by the bushel. Also there are some seafood shops on the main drag into chrisfield that advertise them. If you wanted to take a detour towards Chrisfield you could probably find a bushel at a reasonable price.
It may be worth posting this question on the Ches Bay board to get a larger audience. There must be some good places to buy them on the way down, near the Choptank or further down. Good luck!

On the way out to Assateague Island on the road that goes directly out, there is a crab place, which looks like a collection of 3 or 4 houses all built together. They have a big sign w/ a blue crab on it. I don't know if they sell bushels, but they have a all you can eat deal, w/ fresh corn, Fried Chicken, shirmp, snow crab legs, and of course blue crabs. It's reasonable, like $22 person last time I was down. Kids were much less. It's a place my family looks forward to going back to every year when we go down at Assateague, and we've been going for many years now. Very family oriented, and layed back. It's only a mile or two from the bridge which goes over to the island. It's hard to miss.

Skipjacks - $149L/$110M ($79/$55 for half) - not too bad...
The other place the previous poster is referring to is Assateague Crab House...I will check them out as well...
I was hoping to get a response from a "local" crabber in the area so that I could buy from them...Skipjacks might do though...I will be in this area every other week over the summer and would like to find a good spot for some crabs...in case I do not catch enough...
