I don't know if the kid that pulled us in last Thursday reads this site or not, but while on a little shark fishing adventure just outside of the inlet my friends battery died and we had to limp a 20' wellcraft back in with 6 HP kicker. After 2 miles of limping we were able to flag down a kid in a Carolina Skiff with his brother (I think) that were headed out to do some shark fishing themselves. They pulled us back in through the inlet and for all intensive purposes did a great job. One mishap coming through the south jetty breakers with a wave that came over the side (Didn't know a boat could lean that far:eek2: ) and we were back on our way. He did a great job getting us through and trying to time the waves.
He couldn't have been much more than 16 or 17 years old.
