Dropped in at the Tuna hole looking for some meat. Fished up to about the 715 with lots of good marks, pilot whales, porpoises, but no meat except an errant gaffer Mahi we boated.
Decided to run back down to the Tuna Hole for the afternoon only to be greeted by the largest amass of pilot whales I have ever seen, they were in their thick. Trolled for a little while with no bites.
Decided to run and gun weed lines since it had brought success the last two trips. Found some scattered lines around the point and picked up 5 bailers before we ran out of real estate. Called it a day and headed home.
I wanted to try out the kite today but there was very little wind for the majority of the day, better luck next time.
