Severn River Report 9-16-07

Well, since my Redskins are scheduled to whip up on the Eagles not until tomorrow night I decide to hit the river this Sunday afternoon. Met up with other members of "Team Yak Attack" (Rob, Del and Tim) and fished from 4PM-7PM. We caught a variety of species in the river. We all caught a bunch of white perch. Tim caught a few small pickerel and Rob caught one 24" pickerel!:bigfish: Del said he hooked into a large pickerel but lost it at the yak. Tim and Rob caught a couple of stripers, but nothing worth keeping in the holding pen until the 30th.:D ;-) Both were sublegal.

Fisham, were you out on the water today? I was heading into the cove in front of Manresa and saw a Whaler that looked like your boat.

Nice day to be on the water, will see the rest of you on the 30th.

That wasnt me. Unfortunately I was being subjected to the Gaithersburg town festival with the Kids. I'll be out there tonight, Wednesday and probably a couple of times this weekend. Since I wont be able to fish any of the tourney's I'll be scouting for the team.
