i know this is late but i went to the JRB with my dad sunday to see what was hitting. Left the dock around 6:40pm and didnt catch anything for the first 2 hours. Slack tide i think. Went over to the smithfield side and picked up one at 19 in. The current started moving and the bite started. Easily had 1 fish per cast in the 16-19 inch range but really fat. fished till 10pm and was back home by 11pm with our limit. Think ill stick to going to hrbt till late dec. heard of some good sized fish in the slot range caught out there sunday. Good luck. :))
