Walleye Pete has been reprting big fish at the cleaning station for a week now. that's where they are fishing out of. Eeling out fron of the ships this time of year is almost a sure bet of finding some big fish.
Look beyond the ships. find some nice ledges and drop offs. ;-)

They launched from Kiptopeke but I can guarantee you they caught them out by that buoy near the channel. You can catch one by the ships once in a while but most will be caught by the bouy or even better go a few miles to the high rise and you will catch twice as many.

If you want to see Walleye Pete's reports check the Maryland board, he reports every night on there.

That report was one that I placed on the private message board of the PSWSFA. It was from an email which Ric sent me. His email had more details and some really good photos of some nice fish caught yesterday. You can read Ric's weekly reports in The Fisherman Magazine and at:
Salt Water Sportsman Magazine - (http://www.saltwatersportsman.com/article.jsp?ID=54754)
I'm sure he'll be writing a detailed report.

Looks like the kayakers wont have the ships to themselves this year.
