Has anyone been fishing for stripers out of OC? I heard some birds have been spotted 6-7 miles south off the beach. I am thinking of going Friday, has anyone had any luck?

Have not fished it for a few weeks, but you are outside the 3 mile line, Johnny law will be watching you very closely.....It aint worth the fine

What channel will you be on out there? I will be in a green 25' aquasport cc. April fool is the name of the boat. I am out there for some c&r too.

ill be on a 21 ft blue striper cc, with radar, and outriggers...ill be on 68 & 16...give me a shout, i should be out there by 830...

C&R is not legal either. The EEZ closed to all striped bass possession or fishing.
Federal Regulations make is unlawful to fish for, harvest, possess, or retain any striped bass from the EEZ.
