God is a football fan you know ! Yup ! Sure is, why just the other day he had Payton Manning, Bret Favre, and Tom Brady "up" for an audience.
And GOD said - - -
"I really have enjoyed watching you all play your games this year, you are all magnificent. I have 50 yard seats you know, right over the center of every field!
But as I contemplate your future in the playoffs I need to know a little more about what you belive in, Payton, what do you believe in."
Payton replied " I believe in playing hard, playing fair, winning, taking care of my family, and of course I believe in you "
God said " That is just wonderful, I am so impressed, when you come to stay with me you can sit right here in this chair next to me on my left, and I know you will have good fortune in the playoffs."
God asked Bret " Bret what do you believe in?
Bret replied " I believe in playing hard, playing fair, winning, taking care of my family, I believe we all need to take care of our community, and of course I believe in you also. "
God said " That is also wonderful, I am so impressed, when you come to stay with me you can sit right here in this chair next to me on my right, and you too will have good fortune in the playoffs."
God then asked Tom, "Tom what do you believe in ?"
Tom replied, " Sir, I believe you are sitting in my chair !"
