Ran south in the dark found some really good marks off southern end of Dam Neck dropped lines for about 15 minutes, nothing so we kept to the plan to run south until the water temp came up. My son was running out behind me about the time we got up to run and didn't have long to fish so he worked the marks and picked up three nice fish before we dropped lines at Corrola. I was worried we made the wrong discision. Lines out just south of Corrola Light, about 1 mile off beach, 40 foot of water. Picked up two nice fat 44" nad 39" fish not long after the lines were out. We stayed around the 1st water tower until about 1:00 and picked up 5 more big fatties another 44" the smallest was 38". The fleet was out at the three mile line at the second water tower, lots of baits and marks but it sound like it was slow fishing there too. Blue and white strech 30, small white parachute trailing white mojo and the bait of the day was the new Manns bait that matches the bunker were trolling through. Great day on the water, warm and flat, great fishing with Bill (Miss Ginya), Ed and Dave.:bigfish:

Glad you got 'em too..... that was a nice sized class of fish in that school........I heard of several reports of fish in the 50lb range come from that bite.

Jim,

Ed asked me to relay his thanks. He and I cleaned our fish together today. He is a master surgeon when it comes to cleaning fish. Neat and fast!

I made homemade dogfood with the trimmings and roe this afternoon. Abby loves it!

Thanks again.
