tld 25 power handles

the current handle on the tld 25 is just insuffecient, not much can be done with it.. we switched to all 30II and 50s for tuna but we still have our 25s i want to fix up with 6'6" tallus bluewater series rods for whites, i did a search and came up with replacement handles most were running over 50$ close to 60 thats like half the price of the reels.. i need 5 or so of them so i guess im trying to cut corners anyway i can, is this basically the price of them or is there any other alternative?

Get in touch with Alantani. He is a reel rebuild guru from Ca who frequents all of the fishing message boards. He has custom made handles for under 40$ that are better than any I've seen.

Ditto on Russ's suggestion...I just bought one for a smaller tld. I'll try to post a pic of the reel and the handle later...

Big Tuna caught with a TLD25, now I have the bigger handle much easier.....You can see the reel on the right side of the picture....
