Pax River Shad

Not to take the focus away from Fletchers (well, maybe that is what I'm trying to do), have any of you fished for shad on the upper Pax River, like around the AA County/PG County line? I caught my first Hickory at a small State park off of Central Ave., but haven't been back since. Has the fishing there improved in the past five years? Anyone up for a scouting trip?

Goose - haven't fished there but read about it online. I'd be interested in trying the area near central ave. sometime. I'm booked solid this week but could possibly go next week. If this rain doesn't blow it out tonight I'm going to try it tomorrow. Bmail me if you go.
