bottom temp 59degrees
vis 3-4 top, 6-8 bottom
lots of life... togs, sea bass, flounder, rockfish and SPADEFISH
to bad it was blowin 25 nnw and 4-5 topside, it would have been a really nice day

how big were the spades and did you do any hunting? and thanks for the report.

the spades were a little bigger than handsized. diggy, i had my gun on the ready, but I didnt see anything worth killing, as i already had my togs in the boat.
spearo, its not really that bad in a 5 mil and a hoodie.....actually had to let water in one time.

hey capt davis, if you ever need someone to go spearfishing in the bay, let me know. I have everything at home except for a tank and have never dived the bay because of current and low visibilty but would do it with someone else who is experienced. I have over 80 certified dives and am rescue certified. I've speared enough fish in japan where clarity is over 500 feet to make a living.
