Need some help

1st: Anyway I'll be fishing your lake, "Buggs" Nov 8th and 9th, and was looking for a place to stay, someone told me about the "Bayview Effcienies" on 4th St. with the Clarksville Marina Next door. Is it a nice place?
2nd: Being a short trip, I would rather buy my bait as to spent time searching for it, any bait shops?
3rd: I was told it was ok to fish with my NC Fishing License in VA., Is this true? Thanks for any help. Bill

1. I don't know. I usually camp at Occoneechee, so I hope somebody else helps you on that one.
2. Matthews on HWY-15 sells shad. Telephone first to make sure they have it. 919-693-2197. Bobcat's sells huge minnows, they are on the Virginia side of Hwy 15 so they can't legally sell shad. There's another store across the bridge that sells minnows also, I think it's Buggs Island Bait and Tackle.
3. NC license is good on entire lake due to reciprocal agreement between the states on all Roanoke river reservoirs.
4. Good luck fishing, carry a rod to cast at the breaking fish also.
5. Send me a good report, I'm camping there the next weekend!
