Thanks to all who offered assistance.:yes:
With time of the essence, and w/ a strong NW wind still blowing down the river, the good folks at Len's and my friend Don were somehow able to get the boat off the bottom and onto the trailer yesterday.
No easy task considering all of the stern was under water including the motor at times, w/ 3ft of sand in the boat. Got it to rj last night and he immediately worked to clean the water out of the cylinders. Fired it up today and things may be ok. Thanks again Rich. ;-) :yes:
In the whole scheme of things, an old boat is just an old boat. Knowing that you have friends willing to drop everything to help is far more valuable.
