Coming to Buggs this Sat Any Stripers??

Hello, I'm new to your site and will be at Buggs this Sat. and Sun. I was wondering how the fishing is? Was planning to troll shad/shinners. Are the fish still real deep or have they moved up? Any areas to try? Planning to also fish the gulls. Sounds like from reading other threads, stripers are small.
