Roy Jones gets his a__ kicked again

Well it looks like Calzaghe has done it again. The guy is good, I have never disputed that, but his style is so unorthodox that it's hard to get a feel for him. I'd still like to see him fight one more time, don't really care who it is just as long as it's in America. That way I can say I saw at least three Calzaghe fights before he retires.

Jones, on the other hand, should have retired after the one-punch KO at the hands of Tarver and definately after the brutal KO at the hands of Johnson which he was on the mat for no less than 5 minutes. The guy just doesn't have it anymore and hasn't had it for some time now.

So Calzaghe has now beaten Jones and Hopkins to go with his undefeated career. There is little doubt now he's got a pretty good place in history. Roy should have made this fight when he still had some gas in the tank.

Yup, with this win Joe should be elevated to the top of the pound-4-pound list, no doubt.

He is one of those guys who doesn't do anything special he just does it all well. Great defence, unreal conditioning, crisp accurate punching, and the heart of a lion. I still put Hopkins ahead of him on the all-time list, but Joe is very close behind. If only he had fought better competition in it's prime. I must admit though he did destroy a younger Kessler. I don't think Roy could have beaten him in his prime. Roy never really beat anyone worth a damn.
