The 200hp Proline is driveway bound due to no job. But the canoe still works! Nice weather tomorrow. Anyone had any luck with a bite?

Have not tried yet, But did bring my boat around to the house yesterday. It won't be long now. No job means more time on the water, and i got some makeup to do.
Let us know how you do if you go.

I live between the Mattaponi and Pamunkey and haven't heard anything. The Ring perch should be here. I travel pass Williams landing everyday and haven't seen many boats out. Been a little colder than normal. Won't hurt to try.

Is Williams Landing on the Pamunkey?
Williams Landing is located on New Kent side of the Pamunkey. Had about 10 boat trailers there today. Not sure what they were after or what was caught.

Plenty of boats out yesterday, as well as plenty of law on the water.
We caught nothing. Did not see anthing pulled in on any other boats. EEveryone we talked to on the water said the same, lots of nothing. Tide was extremely low at 10:00am,
Beautiful day though. Well worth it. Just watching a drunk load his boat on the trailer was worth the price of admission.
Maybe next week will be better.

Tried the Mattaponi today for the first time ever, put in at Walkerton and fished down river, minnows, worms, jigs, silver buddy, caught nothing. It is a prettty river and was worth going just to see the waterfowl, unbelievable. Where do you normally launch and how do you fish for the yellows? Thanks.
We gave the Shad a whirl on Friday with no success..... My buddy caught 1 carp and other than that it was just a nice day to be out wetting a line... Water was real cold and super clear... No signs of baitfish yet... Going back in 2 weeks to see what I can see:D
