Anyone have any solutions or ideas to loading and unloading your carolinia skiff? I put a roller up front and took the boards off at the tongue , that made a big difference but its still a big pain in the a..! I have a 24 volt trolling motor and both batteries up front i think its just to much weight for the 17 footer up front any ideas? all are welcome. Im thinking about moving the batteries to the rear but it rides so good with that weight up front

Spray liquid roller on your bunk boards.

Pledge wax works great, too. Just don't unhook the chain until the trailer is at the water.

there are these things that you can put over your bunks and for the life of me I cannot think of what they are but it is slick plastic that makes loading and unloading a breeze. They are one piece and fit right over the bunk itself the color is white .....damn if i can rember what the maufacture is.

I bought bunk glides and installed them on ours, I put the boat trailer in the water just enough for the end of the bunks to be in the water and drive the boat all the way up till it is ready to latch on.Reach over, latch it and then climb off and drive up the ramp and then winch it up an inch or two if needed.

Its my sons boat and they load it the same way. just a little bunk in the water and drive it all the way on.

Hope this helps

I drive mine onto the trailer with no issues. back the trailer down so the bunks totally submerge and get wet, then pull the trailer out until the bunks are only half submerged and drive it right up. Submerging them first makes them a bit slicker and gets rid of any dust and dirt that get blown on them sitting in the parking lot.

If you still have trouble, put a spray can of furniture polish in your truck and give them a squirt just before you haul it out.

Installed EZ slides on my bunks. I never put the hubs in the water and can push 24 DLX off easily. Use a power winch to load the boat.

Just add H20

Yep Those white plastic pieces that come in 2ft.sections you just screw in the bunks work like ice.You can wind in the boat with 1 hand & eat a samich with the other and not work up a sweat on a 100 degree day.I got em for my CS.
