Dr. John Graves will be speaking on the impact of marine policy in Virginia

Professor Graves is an internationally respected fisheries
scientist and policy advisor. He has served as Chair of the U.S.
delegation to the International Commission for the Conservation
of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT) for the past 14 years, and also as a
member of the National Marine Fisheries Service’s advisory panels
for Billfish and Highly Migratory Species.
Most recently, Dr. Graves was appointed to the Department of
Commerce’s Marine Fisheries Advisory Committee (MAFAC), the
nation’s top advisory body for management of commercial and
recreational fisheries in U.S. waters.
