Het "Myboat",
Congratulations. What a gig.
I expect as a bartender at Secrets in the summer time all you'll need is a place to "crash".
Don't rule out Deleware either. It is a quicker drive to Secret's from Fenwick Island, DE than it is from the end of OC. On the weekend it can take you an hour or two to go from the board walk to the bar.
As a matter of fact, there are a couple of trailer parks, and trailers for rent, there in Fenwick and it seems to me that it would be ideal for some one in your position.
Keep the expenses low and, hopefully, the tips high right?

you are very tru...from what i hear there is enough money to be made down there that you can survive the rest of the year without working...now grant it i am the bottom of the todem pole since this is my first summer so i am not expecting things of that proportion...i will have to check out fenwick isld thats a good idea...i mean worse case scenario i have a place in chincoteague that i could stay at but that is like an hour drive so i really want to avoid that....but would you happen to no the names of any of those trailor parks on fenwick that i could look up??

Sorry "Myboat",
I can't think of the names off hand. I spend a lot of time there but I don't live there. A quick intrernet search should get you the information.
Call the tackle shop in Fenwick or a realtor and they'll tell you.
I assure you, you don't want to make that drive from Chincoteauge.
That'll be a three hour drive during the summer / prime time.
Oh yea, let me know when you get settled in. I'll show up for the "house warming" party.
The wife and I need to head there pretty soon to open the families house up for the year.

You looking for roomates? My boss has a couple of apt's for his summer help. I think it's like $60 a week. You will be living with fellow bartenders. Good peeps. PM me
