Very nice shots !!! Tell us more ---what lens , camera, etc. The close ups look great.
I tried to catch a flock off Rt 301 last month. Even with my 170-500mm Sigma Telephoto , I could not get close enough to get a decent closeup without trespassing in a farmers field. . I got there just as the sun was setting so very fast shutter speed with this lens was not practical .This lens is f5.6+at the long end.

there are a bunch around right now, i got very close to a flock right off the highway a few days back, they are not scared of cars but if you get out of the car they will take off

Awesome pics! If I make make one suggestion, it would be to clean your sensor. There are some dust specks in each pic, all located in the top left quadrant of the pic.
