Scouting for some FLATTIES, it's still a little early, but we're gonna see what's there...
Departing Talyors Landing Little Creek inlet 8:30 am for a day of fun.
Boat 31' Contender FA, loaded for bear...

Back feels a lot better but is still SORE, at least the leg pain is gone.. DON'T TELL MY DR.... He'll have a FIT..
Scouting... Fished 8 mile mark, ocean side, 2 bites, NADA... Headed to small boat channel by beach, lots of bait marks, NADA...
Water temp was between 43 and 44F... Still a little CHILLY...
Last year March 13th we had a BOAT LOAD of FLATTIES... I hope the water warms a bit more SOON....
It felt GREAT to finally get back on the boat... I can't wait till I get a BLUEBIRD DAY and a Boat FULL of FUEL...

I talked to Louis yesterday to get the report of your expedition looking to catch Flounder.:thumbup:
I suspected it would be futile to try as it is to early and to cold for them inshore,but then it didn't hurt to see if any were around biting.:yes:
The Plus was you had a good crew to go and enjoy the day with.
Glad to hear your back is much better,try not to over do it though.:nono: You don't want a set back.

Yeah I'm back, but my Dr. doesn't know it... I am still supposed to be on my back.. Back still hurts, but the leg pain is GONE... That was the worst part...
As far as pullage, I knew it would be tough and wanted to head offshore to some wrecks for the flounder, but the winds were howling early and I didn't want to take a chance hurting my back again.. At least I got to run the boat and burn some fuel...
I'll be back out as soon as I can get a perfect day and I'll be a whole lot DEEPER....
