Turkeys are strutting and goobling. Have seen many gooblers strutting and have heard them goobling this past week.

Saw a dozen in Suffolk yesterday with two strutters that were huge. It won't be long now.

Visiting my brother inlaw up in western Md this weekend and saw five strutting on his property this morning. They were all huge.

Saw a nice gang right there along Rt 360 west just west of the truck stop and Rt 153 in Amelia, VA. Itwas about 9 am pouring rainbut boy there were 2 big Toms just a struttin.

whats up jamie. everything is getting right. we are catching shad catfish and white perch here at home in the nottoway. i will be off the next 2 wks do to the lack of orders at work. something is gonna catch hell these 2 wks. if this weather would clear up everything should be clicking. and it wont be long them flatties will be at the bend in the bridge. just give me a shout i am good anytime but tuesday afternoons and sat. afternoons do to coaching baseball. take care and how is sissy and the family doing

I am ready to getem.I am going to try and do another cat trip or two before I go togfishin.Should be right at the bridge soon.Jacob had a blood transfusion today because his blood count was low but hes hangin in there.Just bought another rabbit dog to mess with over the summer and have two litters of deerhounds on the way.Going to be a busy spring.:yes::DI dont turkeyy hunt alot but do try and go once or twice a year.I need to carry Hunter on youth day and see if I can call one for him.Might try some fishing Sunday if the weather breaks.

I went to the nottoway yesterday and tried the rock. I caught one rock and 4 cats. The last cat i caught was 21 pound blue cat and my damn net wont big enough. Had to grab him by the gills.it was a damn circus for a few minutes . I was by myself and no one else around. I could have won the money for the funniest video if it had been on tape. Let me know a head of time when you want to get together. Looks like we are going to be taking more down time here at work in the future.
