I'm in Islamorada till 1/7/06 from Maryland seeking some refuge from the cold. Any advice on headboat fishing in Islamorada area would be appreciated. Would like to wet a line while here and take advantage of the great fishing but have no idea where to go, what type of fish are available, rigs, bait etc. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Robies Marina runs one from Islamorada. I don't know the name (Marathon Lady??) but their is another one in Marathon just as you go over Vaca Cut on the left.

The Gulf Stream out of Key Largo is one serious fishing boat. All the local "regulars" use it. It's not on the main highway and is not a tourist trap like some of the others. I've used it many times and always did well. Ph. 451-9788
