should be a good time..there will be a ton of vendors and activitys for young and old come on out and take a look

On Friday May 1st, 2nd and 3rd...our chapter is hosting the "Delta Waterfowler Days" in conjunction/cooperation with the Havre de Grace Decoy Festival.

Our chapter is solely doing this to assist the Decoy Museum. We (our chapter - the UCC) are also hosting the "Dock Dogs" as well.
The DOCK DOGS will be at Harris Field in Havre de Grace and the Delta Waterfowler Days will be in the Activity Center across from the Middle School. Inside and outside of that building will be all kind of really cool stuff...All sponsors of our EVENT!!! Outfitters, waterfowl product manufacturers, hunting decoys, etc. We are also going to host calling contest (Open and Youth) and various seminars.

This will start at 4pm at Harris Field with the DOCK DOGS first jump. And the festival starts at 6pm. Scott Berg (our RD) is coming in for it too. Its really going to be cool!!

Sounds great! I plan to bring my Lab to compete in the dock dogs competition. The wife and I (and our lab) love that competition because it is way relaxed and just plain fun for everyone. We have done it a few times and there is nothing cooler than seeing your dog launch off that platform!

I have never been to the festival and would love to go this year. I have a 7, a 5, and a 3 year old. I am concerned about being able to keep their attention...I don't think it will be an issue with my boy, Christopher (5), but am concerned with my girls, Julia (7) & Laney(3). Will there be things there to keep their attention?

Please excuse my ignorance, but is the Dock dogs where the dogs leap from the pier into water...if so, my kids love watching that on TV, so it shuold not be an issue.

Thanks for any advice!

Dave...your absolutely right!!! There is going to be ALOT for the kids. We are having our youth program doing all kinds of things with the kids. So, please bring them along. They are going to teach kids how to build woodduck boxes, blow duck calls, a bunch of fun things.

And your right, that is exactly "The Dock Dogs." Its going to be crazy!!! And a whole lot of fun to watch too!!! I'm excited about it.
