Request for help on tarpon fishing & guide

My son lives in Gainesville and I will be visiting him in April. We would love to catch a tarpon but have absolutely no idea on seasons, locations, or guides. Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

1. Are tarpon available in April.
2. How far from Gainesville would we have to travel to catch them.
3. Can you recommend a good guide for tarpon fishing.
4. Any other info you can provide would be appreciated.

Tarpon in april begining or end of April? and what size? baby say 5-50 pounds or the adults? as the water warms the adults move north from I think mostly central america, the water temp in the begining is cooler than the end of the month. My area Tampa Bay starts to see tarpon during March. but numbers aren't great. further south say naples or further south maybe better.
