What is biting in panama City . Should I bring my own Rod and Reel for pier or surf fishing ? How about Charter boats in area . Any feedback would be appreciated . Thanks, Earle

you can rent rods at the pierand at half hitch tackle on thomas dr.. I think $7 a day. I'd say bring your own. lots of charter and party boats

there are headboats that run out of the inlet next to capt anderson's resturant on thomas dr...right down the road from half hitch tackle....they usually go after snapper and other bottom fish...i took one in 2001..price was about $35 or so...dont remember if it was half day or full day....prob half......they have charter boat too..but as ya know big $$.
