Just wondering if the white perch are up near Ancarrows yet? Anybody see folks catching them?

I went to ancarrows yesterday ......... no perch - lots of shad/herring......they were fun whatever they were.....

Jamie, how many shad did you catch (hook and line, not gill net)?

ALL OF THEM......I did NOT even have a Gill Net or Cast Net in the boat with us at all......didnt even have a landing net as a matter of fact

Oh I know the deal, and it has not changed from previous years. We had some nice entertainment from shore fishermen screaming at boaters, or other boaters screaming at boaters. Good times. Shad bite was so-so unless you had a fly rod, then it was non-stop.
