Hey Guys,
I live in North East MD and am wondering if anyone has caught any shad yet? We are 2 to 3 weeks behind you all in VA and I'm just wondering if anything is happening in the area yet?

Thanks for the info. Yesterday a fellow posted on the Chesapeake board he had caught a few in my neck of the woods. Can't wait to get out and get after them!

I was wondering the same thing... Driving around Little Creek base today I seen an Osprey with a big fish in its claws... the fish was so big that the bird could barely fly... I mean he was struggling to maintain it's flight.... everytime the fish would move around you could see the Ospray move from side to side... I believe it was a shad but I could not make it out too well as it was a good 25 feet and I was staring at it with the sun in my eyes...:thumbup:
