I guess you are going to have to give them a ice bath before cooking them in the future? Whats next you can't cut your grass because the grass because the grass hoppers feel pain?

it chills them out and easier to fill the pot.and as many times asi have been bitten the y should feel a little pain.

I once worked for a commercial guy crabbing and fishing. One day in his shop one bit him on the leg through the basket, got him pretty good. He grabbed the claw and dumped the crabs in another basket until he had the one that bit him. He took that one and a couple of others and headed up to his house and steamed them for lunch. LOL

I think Weber has the right idea!!!
I prefer the ice pick to the brain! They're limp instantly. Perhaps I should suggest that method to the Maryland governor for executions in place of that inhumane lethal injection that they all have a problem with.
