A nonfishing boat restoration.

I no this isn't a fishing machine but still an interesting project we just finished up.
It's a 22' Mariner (I don't want to say it) sailboat. I believe a 1978. But we just finished a complete restoration including new mahogany trim, new ports that we had to resize, complete Awlgrip finish and the repair of fiberglass damage on the hullside from a run in with a bulkhead. She went back to Wilmington with her happy owner Friday, he said he has been working on her in his back yard for 4 years. Now she's done and he will be sailing in North East this summer.

Any boat can be a fishing boat. I have caught fish off a sailboat, my brother has caught plenty on delivery trips in blue water, once caught number of dolphin off a hook with a piece of signal flag on it! (They forgot to bring fishing gear with them, that is all they could scrounge up). A cousin had a 26' sailboat that they used take out on overnight trips and live bait rockfish off oyster reefs in Maryland. That aside, nice looking work, I'll bet the owner is proud of her.
