Poor boy ,I own a 2001 logic which was renamed triumph in 2002..mine is a 21 ft center console..with a 150 johnson..the boat wot runs about 43 (by the GPS) the boat handles rough seas well and fishes great ,everyone who fishes the boat is amazed at the way she handles..you wont be disapointed..mine has trim tabs which are very helpful depending upon the load and the seas..if you can, take a sea trial and if possible bring along a seasoned boater and get their opinion.

not saying they are no good but my buddy has the 2001 18' logic and we both were disapointed in it. We just took the engine off of it today and put it on an 87 c hawk. The plastic seemed rather week you can see the floor flex in rough seas. the hull is formed to the bunks on the trailer.. maybe he got a lemon..

I have that exact boat, maybe you read some of my posts in the threads hookinfinger posted. Short answer, I love mine, get the tabs and a swim ladder.

I want one bad. Not in the cards right now though. There sometimes seems to be a few pop up in craigslist for a good price. There's always the worry about buying used from someone other than a reputable dealer but I saw some good deals. I don't see how I could go wrong with a boat like that. I could even take it to portions on the upper Potomac for muskie and smallmouth, easily tow it to Canada in the summer, fish the CBBT in confidence and get shallow on the flats.
I was thinking along the lines of the 19cc. But the 17 could probably fit in the garage. I have a 22' cc fiber glass hull now and it's just too big for my day to day fishing and truck. Plus it looks like crap from not being waxed or getting chips in the paint job from tying up to bridges and bulkheads.

I got a 2005 215 Triumph and like it a great deal. Fish the Maryland portion of the bay a lot and trailer down to the OBX. Pmail (private mail ) me for any specific questions. Where are you considering buying it from?
