Is there a marina in Kiptopeke, that will let you dock a week at a time. I have never been there but I'm hope to and I don't want to launch every day. I was told the kiptopeke inn is OK for somewhere to stay, but the near-by ramp can be tuff to launch from.

Nothing wrong with the ramp there, but there is no place to keep your boat for an extended amount of time. Try up in Cape Charles.

dont know of a marina but launched from the statepark last year with no trouble.as for the inn it is a place to stay but nothing fancy.they have a fish cleaning area and fresh water to clean boat,gear.ect.

Stay at Sunset Beach Resort as it's likely the best place. Pretty good rooms and a nice bar on the beach. As far as a boat slip, Cape Charles is the only place nearby, but not likely to get a slip for daily use. The State park is the best ramp other than Cape Charles to get in and out of the water.
