Fished with Capt. Disco, up the James @ the 95 bridge. The bite was on all day... lost count early... Got several fish in the 20 inch range... Had a great day on the river with an old fishing buddy...
I want to know who the guy in the green grumand fly fishing was... he was the "shad Master" we boat 20 to 30... but he must of boated 40 to 50..." I'm not worthy !!!

The river was looking a liittle high but not too muddy@ 6 pm..Great news to hear!

thanks for the report were they all hickories? did you land any whites.... i'm heading that way on sunday

Thanks for the report. Will probably give it a try Sunday. I usually fish a shad dart and every once in a while a spoon. What color or bait did you have your best luck on. And yeah Ive seen that guy with the fly rod B4 and he does wear them out. Thanks Big Dave

Small silive darts were the ticket that day but we did get some on silve and gold spoons

Mitch ...I live in Mechanicsville. and do most of my fishing out of Broad creek... so I post on both NN and VB... I also post MNT fishing reports here when the NN is slow... Don't worry I'll be post for the rapp and the NN in the next few week.. May do some C and R out there next week ... early scouting for the striped ones.... anyone see any croker yet ????
