I did a little flying yesterday and flew down the bay to see what was happening. The MD anglers are out trolling and jigging in anticipation of the Spring season that opens in a few weeks. Virginia was quiet with only a few boats out in the bay and a few offshore.
Thought I would share a few of the shots.:28:
If you want to see a few shots from MD you can click here (http://www.tidalfish.com/forums/chesapeake-angler-original-board-maryland-angler/257634-ariel-rips-pics-3-31-09-a.html)

Very nice Brandon. Looked like a nice day to slip the surly bonds of earth.
Next time you get down this way, see if you can get a good overhead shot
of the third island rogue rock and make it a sticky.
Or is that the rock in that pic?

Nice shots. Next time fly lower so you can spot schools of fishing migrating into the bay, then do a live tidalfish post with the location of the fish, then watch the boats stream out of the inlets to get them. :D

Cool shots, thanks for sharing. I am going to do a fly over of Poquoson this spring so I can get an update of my oyster beds
and shoreline reef. Here are a couple from 2 years ago. Thanks again. My house is the one with the cove/dock/boatlift.

Brandon (or anyone else that is up and flying) try to get a shot of that rouge rock at the third island at low tide and post it..........
I"m sure a lot of people would like to see the exact location and it might help save a life....

That picture of the island is the third island, I "think" you can see the rouge rock. I will post a higher resolution version of that picture so maybe we can see it better.
I also have some pics of what I think is the CBF oyster growing operation over around Fisherman's Island that I will post later when I get to my other computer.

Were you in a dark blue or black helicopter?
One buzzed me while I was fishing the western branch of the Lynnhaven.
Great pics
I found a new puppy drum hole :)

No helicopter, I was in a plane. When we came across that area I was at about 2000ft, did not try to buzz anyone in that area, thought we might get shot down;-)
We did fly the eastern shore side at 100ft the whole way up, crazy how much you can see and how deserted that area really is.
Cool stuff Brandon... especially liked the Lynnhaven @ low tide shots. Anyone wanting to know where to pup fish should take some time looking at these.

I will post a little bigger picture of the rogue rock this weekend. I need to put it on the server and post it so it comes across in full resolution.

Awesome Shots!
Does anyone know what that is in the bottom right corner of the lighthouse shot? Looks like old boats lined up next to each other or something.
Just curious...
Thanks again Brandon!
