My dad and I will be in the keys tarpon fishing around the bahia bridge on the 17th which I believe is in Key West. If there is anyone out there that has any interest in taking two newbies from Virginia out Please send me an email at bobaftt1212@hotmail.com. I will be glad to contribute gas money etc etc. I am a member on the Buggs Island striper clup and if any of you guys ever get the itch to go striper fishing at buggs Island or Catfishing for monster Blues on the TN river in Chattanooga email me as well.

Thanks
Craig

Craig, while I won't be able to take y'all fishing...I can provide a little info, Bahai Honda is about 40 miles north of Key West and is a great fishing locale, I'm not sure about the Tarpon down there but just a little north is the 7 mile bridge and it holds a LOT of Tarpon and they are usually the monsters every one looks for...also the Long Key Bridge and Long Key State Park has flats (wadeable) hold a lot of tarpon and other species...if you are looking for a tarpon guide there is a good one at the marina where I'm the dockmaster...don't know about price but I do know he produces and gets a lot of repeat business...if you want a name and number just reply

We have a trip scheduled for that Friday with Capt John Herrick. I wouldn't mind Shark Fishing that Saturday or doing the Flats thing. be nice to experience several kinds of fish that I don't usually get to go after. Thanks for the tips!
