Departed the Leonardo State Marina at 6:30am. There was an intermittent cold rain all morning that definitely put a "damper" on things. We caught a total of 12 with only two keepers in the slot. Not a great day considering how well we've done here in the past. I'll be back at the end of May!

Not sure where you fished. We went over to the NY side and caught about 70 stripers. We were getting a fish a clam. We fished in 17.5 ft of water. No keepers here, because the only way to get a 'legal' keeper in both states is to get a 34" fish. We had a ton of NJ 'slots'. Largest fish was 31.5.

I wish I would have gone to the Raritan instead of the Cheasapeake! We got blown around on Sunday and didn't catch a fish.
