Citation Flounder 10lb 9oz

Wanted to post this for my friend James. Fish was caught this past Thursday 4/9/2009.
Fish was 31 in and weighed 10lbs 9 oz.

I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time and got to see this fish curled up in the cooler. Biggest flounder I have ever seen and I can only imagine what a thrill it would be to hook into.:yes:

I think I'm correct in saying that he caught this beast on a rod and rig he made himself and even caught the bait. Nice personal touch!:thumbup:

The Fish GOds Looked down upon you. Way to go I fished THursday and didnt catch any flounder and I saw your fish and classic rock fish's friends flounder caught on that day. I suck. NIce Job.

Come on its fake..... Just kidding. My nephew caught one like that a few years ago down OC in the channel by Bouy 9, his dad grabed the line instead of the leader and , you know the rest of the story. Our jaws droped, then we went home.
I am going back down next week to fish on friday and Turkey hunt on Sat, then fish for the remainder of the day.

Thanks for the support guys, Its nice to see support from other local fisherman when a nice catch is made, this fish will be goin up on the wall soon, i have been flounder fishing since i could walk and my Grandfather was the one who brought me into the wourld of fishing and it was an honor to be able to make this catch with him on his boat.
