Bad turkey morning at Millington yesterday - my dad made us go out in the woods in a downpour and it rained the whole time - we saw one gobbler, but I saw more homefries at twinnys
But I did find a new brook trout stream!!

my favorite part of spring turkey season is putting the gun about and pulling out my 2wt. Dry flies and brookies are like crack.

Dont feel bad! bad day for everyone. My boys and got on two birds first thing, but when they hit the ground it was over. Not a good day.

same here. we had birds pegged the day before. it was gonna be all over for our boy by 6:51. by 7:45 nothing. got up and walked and saw them struttin 200 yds. away and not a peep in the morning and no interest. cold, wet, and windy- miserable. tommy did not complain once. the weather threw them for a loop. maybe sat morning will bring him his first bird.
