Kayak Fishing the Florida keys this week ....finally come to the conclusion that just about everything likes gulps.... it out fish real shrimp... different colors work better in certain areas.... Pamlico Sound the New Penny Shrimp work well here in the keys rootbeer flake is the ticket...in the nasty dirty waters of the Chesapeake bay the swimming mullet white/chartuse do well....but they all like gulps.
On a side note Saw about twenty big a$$ Barracuda and I hooked a tarpon in a tarpon14 kayak today.... pulled me around like I had a motor, but I had zero chance of catching the beast. Next time I bring the heavy tackle
Small Grouper... victim of the rootbeer gulp

Thanks for the report and photos.
But you forgot to stop by and pick me up.
I did go to the outer banks but was blown out last week hard fishing in 20+ winds in a plastic vessel.

Arent gulps amazing......I wish they had more competitors to bring the prices down bluefish can go through a bag in a half hour. Dogs love them also. I had a beagle eat 3 new bags full i left out. When fishing North Carolina I left a dozen bags in my yal outside and found that coons had raided my kayak during the night and carried all 12 bags away into the swamp behind the house.

C. Hale,

Yeah,
I was fishing the space coast last week with Gulps for the first time and cleaned up pretty well. Managed to catch Refish, Snook, Trout, Ladyfish and Moonfish. Even at night they were finding the baits. My uncle that lives there was really surprised.
